Beyond my Career

Education and career are one thing but there is more to a person than their professional persona.

Here, I offer you a glimpse into my personal life so that you can see beyond my professional profile.

Tell me about yourself:

I am an active person and spend most of my free time either outside with our Mastiff and

Saint Bernard, working in the yard, or with my friends and family. With one older and four

much younger halfsiblings, my life in Germany was certainly never boring. My husband's

family is large as well and even though it can get tough to balance a life within two different

cultures, it has brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined. 

I am involved in my community in the Arvada-Westminster-Broomfield area, in multiple

ways, especially through events and charities organized through my gym, MBS CrossFit.

The sport of CrossFit definitely pushes me to my physical and mental limits, and constantly

teaches me about myself as a person, and the abilities I didn't know I had. We also enjoy

hiking, skiing, or relaxing. On days off, we enjoy time in the Rocky Mountains, travel back

to my homeland,or we spend time with family, or in our community.

 

Where have you lived? Most of my life I lived in the Rhine Valley (Germany),

but I also lived in central Ohio, western Massachusetts, Texas, and now beautiful Colorado.

I am working on a book about my immigration experience and hope to self-publish
