I have a BA equivalent in North American Studies, Geography and Political Science, an MA in Germanic Studies/Applied Linguistics and a PhD in Educational Psychology (Human Development, Culture, and Learning Science), and my work is characterized by analytical critical, and interdisciplinary thinking. I have worked in diverse positions as an instructor, coordinator, instructional designer, researcher, coach and mentor, communications specialist and producer.

This quote translates to "Success has three letters: Do!" My 'Oma' used to say this and it's true. How many times do we fail because we don't even try? Motivating ourselves and each other to "do" is one of the essential components for success. Often, if we are already interested in something, it is easier to be motivated, but who says we can't develop interest after being motivated to try?

Collaboration is one of the most valuable and challenging tasks necessary to lead a project or institution to success. Everyone is equipped with skills and unique experiences that they bring into a project. With the right leadership and teamwork, a team can become highly productive and successful. While I am a self-starter by nature, I have seen myself grow in roles as a team member, coordinator, and leader.
